As a community recovers so does the food system of that community. Café Gozhóó supports Apache community agriculture and traditional markets by encouraging the production of Apache crafts, foods, supporting artisans and Apache foragers. Through this timeless knowledge, we stimulate and nurture our indigenous spirit and reclaim ancestral health.
By activating ancestral knowledge in food, arts and crafts, we are restoring and evolving neurocircuitry in the brain through Experiential Restorative Teaching and Learning. This is the Apache Way.
